Dale has over 25 years of experience as a metallographer. He has evaluated a diverse range of materials including, but not limited to, metals, polymers, ceramics, glasses, composites, and rare-earth magnet materials.

Currently his work includes projects to study the effects of aging and corrosion on aerospace aluminum alloys.
