Technical Information Services functions as UDRI’s virtual library, identifying, locating, and procuring information in all forms (electronic, microform, and print) in support of research grants and contracts.

• We provide library and search services to UDRI. We locate and procure copies of specifications, standards, patents, books, theses, and other reference materials needed by researchers.
• We are responsible for registering federal contracts with the Defense Technical Information Center, and thus are able to procure many government reports for UDRI researchers.
• We maintain the Research Institute Archives, including UDRI technical reports. Employees are asked to provide to TISO one copy of each publication produced at UDRI for inclusion in this archive.
