The UDRI Sensors laboratory conducts feasibility studies on chemical and biological sensor applications. The laboratory is well equipped with various electrochemical and optical instruments including scanning potentiostats, conductivity and oxygen analyzers, fluorescence and UV/VIS spectrophotometers, and a YSI MBS analyzer for nutrient and ion analyses.

Sensors Laboratory

The UDRI Sensors Laboratory conducts feasibility studies on chemical and biological sensor applications or concepts. The laboratory is well equipped with various electrochemical and optical instruments including scanning potentiostats, conductivity and oxygen analyzers, fluorescence and UV/VIS spectrophotometers, and a YSI MBS analyzer for nutrient and ion analyses.

Available to us are well-equipped laboratory facilities at UDRI for imaging and characterizing materials used in sensor fabrication, including the Materials Physics Laboratory and the Surface Analysis Laboratory. Imaging instrumentation available includes AFM, SEM, DSC, XAFS and Auger spectroscopy.
