Professional Experience:
Laurie Quill has worked in the science and technology arena for over 20 years. She specializes in research on the interaction between humans and technology. Her research has contributed to the design, development and improvement of technologies used to support troubleshooting aircraft on the flightline, enhance space command decision making, improve human-computer communications, and aid on-the-job training. Laurie's diverse experience in both human factors and training assists program development in a variety of ways, from ensuring that cognitive capabilities are supported in training systems, to supporting ease of learning in systems operations.
In her role as group leader, Laurie provides technical guidance and leadership in initiating and conducting a variety of research programs in the field of human factors and ergonomics. In addition to this role, she serves as a principal investigator and research psychologist.
