Visiting UDRI
In the Advanced Composites group, researchers characterize and evaluate reinforcing fibers and preforms of different fiber architectures, matrix resins, and composites; study the experimental and analytical mechanics of composites; and investigate high-temperature composites and their durability in extreme environments; advance the processing science of composites; process and develop nanocomposites; and perform research on carbonaceous materials and innovative carbon forms such as graphitic foams and nanotubes.

Advanced Composites Group
