Group Leader, Sealants, Elastomers & Adhesives

Roger has over 27 years experience in the areas of fiber-reinforced composites, adhesive bonding technology, and polymeric and nonstructural materials, and has managed a wide array of technical programs in these technology areas. He has been the principal investigator on numerous large and small nonmetallic materials characterization programs for both government and industrial customers. Prior to becoming the group leader of Sealants, Elastomers and Adhesives, Roger was with UDRI’s Composites and Adhesives Laboratory for more than 25 years, where he was responsible for all aspects of polymer matrix composite material processing, quality control, coupon preparation, testing, and evaluation. He also has an extensive background in the area of adhesive bonding technology and the characterization and testing of adhesive materials.
